See Anything You Like?

This is what my house looked like on Saturday. I am leaving it set up like this for another few weeks, so we can have at least two more sale days. What a mess. But we sure were busy!! See anything you like?
I'll continue the tour on the next post. See you then.

Yes, I see many things. Lamps, pictures, dolls, scales, and on and on. You do have a large job ahead of you.

Do I see anything I like? Geeze!!
The chair with the needlepoint cover in the 1st picture. The busts in the Secretary in the 6th picture. The lace curtains are so pretty. The dolls are just beautiful. I love the wallpaper. The floral couch or chair is gorgeous. The cobalt blue glassware is wonderful. The stained glass windows/shutters are to die for. I absolutely LOVE the floral picture over the server in the dining room. Shall I go on?
Just beautiful!!!

Joyce and Becky, Thank you both for the lovely comments you have been making on my blog.
I love knowing that other people understand my pain but share in my joy also.
I think I will be going to more of a cottage look next so now that I have settled on that I am accepting this move a little more.
Stick around, I'll probably need help when and if we sell this monster of a house.

Oh, my...what a lot of work and a lot of memories. I imagine that you had lots of "browsers" for your sale....I hope you sold lots, but nothing that you really hated to see go. When is your goal for actually moving?

Mary, We had quite a few people at our sale, but not enough of the big items went. We are repeating the sale on this coming Saturday, the 20th. This time it will be very well advertised.
We hope to put the house up for sale in the spring. Houses have been taking 2-3 years to sell but this one could go real fast, OR sit for a long, long, time. We already have someone who is interested. So we'll see.

What a lot of work that must have been to get ready for your sale. I hope it was very successful. I would have been a great customer!!
